Window In The Skies - Authentic 2006 Danish Universal label 1-track Promotional Issue CD Acetate

Very rare official 2006 Danish Universal Music label in-house promotional CD-R single, distributed exclusively by Universal Music Denmark in December 2006 to promote 'Window in the Skies' from the 'U218 Singles' compilation. This regional promo features the updated, stylish black and white corporate Universal Music Denmark company printed Disc design which is reflected on the card sleeve design as well.

The outer ring hub matrix text 'TDK80 UG (05206105)' explicitly verifies that this copy was burned onto an authentic, professional TDK Ultra Grade archival blank used internally by the Copenhagen branch for ultra-limited radio station servicing. 

The hub matrix code documents a fascinating shift in the optical media industry of the mid-2000s. Around 2005/2006, TDK outsourced their physical CD-R manufacturing as an Original Equipment Manufacturer contract to the Taiwanese tech giant Ritek Corporation. While the raw polycarbonate disc was physically molded by Ritek, it was manufactured strictly to TDK’s premium 'Ultra Grade' (UG) specifications—featuring TDK's patented, scratch-resistant protective top lacquer. These corporate blanks were supplied directly to Universal Music’s European offices, where the Danish branch in Copenhagen pre-printed the local company logo and burned the U2 tracks for ultra-limited radio delivery in December 2006

CD-R is manufactured as a generic company disc - housed in a generic company sleeve with a artist, title and release information Universal Music sticker as well as a NMC Danmark registration sticker.

Condition: NM (Disc)/Exc (Sleeve):
Disc looks unused - basically suggesting that this one has only been out for registration and then placed back in the sleeve again - graded straight Near Mint
Sleeve is almost perfect - hardly any signs of handling - NMC Danmark registration sticker has not affected grading.
