Cuacha! - Original 1988 UK Diablo label 11-track LP

Scarce 1988 UK Demon sub label 11-track LP - the debut album from Tucson frictious and often dark rural rock quartet centered around the songwriting core of guitarist Rich Hopkins and Dave Slutes - originally released in the US the year before on Rich Hopkins San Jacinto label.

Fred Mills from the Trouser Press (Record Guide) writes that Guacha! ... has its share of jangly folk-rock moments instantly familiar to any fan of mid-'80s R.E.M. Yet its traditional feel — part psychedelic pop and part dustbowl blues — suggests influences stretching back at least two decades... Hopkins' expansive "big guitar" references Neil Young and Crazy Horse; his uncomplicated melodies are as immediate and hummable as Tom Petty's. And Slutes' enigmatic lyrical concerns (the drug of love, the mystic powers of the sun and moon, the dark edges of the soul) — delivered in the best romantic baritone since Neil Diamond— make for a charismatic combination.

Vinyl has the generic red rimmed concentric grey circles label with top white on red box logo featuring company name printed along left and lower side leaving space for the stylized guitar playing demon logo. 

Condition: VG++ (Vinyl & Labels)/VG++ (cover)
Vinyl has a touch of faint sleeve only scuffing. Labels are in near perfect condition with a single or two barely visible spindlemarks. Overall near perfect vinyl.
Picture cover has almost no signs of storage or handling... a touch of faint scuffing is all - easily graded near mint. Nice.
