Bedtime Story is the 3^rd single from the 1994 album Bedtime Stories. The song was written by Björk, Nellee Hooper and Marius De Vries. Though the single was a top 10 and 5 hit in most parts of Europe, it only made it to no. 42 on Billboard Top 100. It was a huge success on the clubs making it to the top of Billboard Dance Club Songs.

The music video for Bedtime Story was directed by Mark Romanek and is listed as one of the most expensive music in history with a cost of $5 million. Madonna has never performed the song live during any of her tours (the Obital remix was used as an interlude during The Re-invention Tour 2004), but she did perform it during The Brits in 1995.
