Description
Specifications

One of the most influential groups in electronic, cosmic and ambient music, Tangerine Dream is captured here during one of its most creative periods. Recorded at the Paramount Theater in Portland on 20 April 1977, this concert features the legendary line-up of Edgar Froese, Christopher Franke and Peter Baumann at the height of the Ricochet and Stratosfear era. Hypnotic sequences, washes of Mellotron, analogue synthesisers and constantly evolving improvisations carry the trio through a fascinating sonic journey in which technology serves emotion. Unreleased for nearly fifty years, this exceptional recording is now available for the first time in a physical format, on vinyl and CD, with new mastering from the original 1977 tapes. This deluxe edition includes an exclusive sticker, printed inner sleeves and a stunning double LP pressed on BLUE and YELLOW vinyl. An essential document of Tangerine Dream’s golden age.
