Specifications

Few artists have left their mark on jazz with as much elegance as Stan Getz. Instantly recognisable for the warm, fluid and deeply melodic sound of his tenor saxophone, Getz is captured here in the perfect setting: the stage of the legendary New Morning club in Paris. Part of the prestigious Dreyfus Jazz collection, this recording reveals all the subtlety of a musician at the height of his powers, moving effortlessly between lyricism, swing and emotion. The club’s intimate atmosphere brings out every nuance of his playing and the connection between the musicians and their audience. Long unavailable and never before released on vinyl, this exceptional concert now makes its debut on the format, with brand-new artwork created especially for this edition. This deluxe pressing also includes a side OBI strip, a printed inner sleeve and stunning OPAQUE DARK BLUE VINYL. An essential addition to the collection of any jazz lover.
