Description
Specifications

Released in 1977, this Bill Summers album is one of the most sought-after treasures of the Afro-Cuban jazz-funk fusion scene. A virtuoso percussionist and key member of The Headhunters, Summers brings together some of the finest musicians on the American West Coast, including Hadley Caliman, Rodney Franklin and Ray Obiedo. Together, they create an album that blends Afro-Cuban rhythms, funk and jazz with rare elegance. The magnificent “Magic”, now a classic among collectors and jazz-funk fans, captivates with its fluid groove and spellbinding atmosphere. Tracks such as “Latican Space Mambo” and “Flying” remain favourites with DJs and devotees of the genre. Long out of print and almost impossible to find on vinyl, the album now returns in a DELUXE edition featuring a side OBI strip, a printed inner sleeve and stunning Opaque Red Vinyl
