Lex Legion is a brand-new band made up of longtime friends with an incredible heavy metal legacy. Four-fifths of the band consists of the classic King Diamond lineup from the late 1980s, featuring Mikkey Dee (drums), Pete Blakk (guitar), Andy La Rocque (guitar), and Hal Patino (bass), complemented by the breathtaking vocals of Nils K. Rue (Pagan’s Mind), and can also look back on shared experiences with Motörhead, Scorpions, and Death. Lex Legion’s self-titled debut album is a purposeful, forward-looking return to world-class hard rock/metal, characterized by tasteful “less-is-more” arrangements, virtuoso musicianship, and relentless melodies and harmonies.
