Naja Rosa's upcoming album "If Only Love Could Save Us" is a soulful and solid neoclassic, produced by Naja Rosa herself, in a time in the world where division and uncertainty reign. Naja Rosa's message is unity and love, and the album contains everything from lyrical pop anthems to big recognizable James Bond-esque soul ballads and at the same time the sound is unmistakably Naja Rosa's own.

About the album, Naja Rosa says: “I have needed to get really close and peel off the layers. In a time when the world is on the other side and division and war are ravaging, I feel the need for music that can embrace, music that can touch, honesty and not least love. I have become a mother and think every day about what I am passing on to my child. What we all pass on, and what kind of world the children of the future will take over. I have tried to convey that feeling in the songs, on an album where perfection is not the goal, but honesty, soul and closeness.”

For almost 30 years, Naja Rosa has toured, written and been a big part of the continuation of her “other” band The Savage Rose, and the familial and musical ties can also be seen and heard on “If Only Love Could Save Us” where, among others, music partners Frank Hasselstrøm, Anders Holm and Jacob Haubjerg contribute with eminent musicianship, Una Skott with beautiful guitar tones, LiveStrings on adventurous strings, and back to the completely familiar on the song “If We Have Tomorrow” where her 14 year old nephew Charlie Hasselstrøm and Naja Rosa’s mother Annisette sing in the choir - a song Naja Rosa wrote about a little boy in Gaza who sowed seeds and planted a garden in the ruins of his bombed home, a moment that Naja Rosa describes as one of the most life-affirming things she has ever seen. The song and the animated video she has subsequently donated to SOS Children’s Villages who are using it for their spring campaign and collection for war-torn children.
