It is no secret that the British singer/songwriter has evolved an affinity for jazz on his later album - traditional jazz as well as retro swing and ragtime as performed with The Bryan Ferry Jazz Orchestra revealed itself on 2012's "The Jazz Age" and "The Great Gatsby Jazz Recordings" from 2013. Although 'Bitter-Sweet' features remakes of older songs by Ferry and Roxy Music it features 1920s jazz stylings... and it features songs from the 'Babylon Berlin' TV series as advertised on the front hype sticker.

'Bitter-Sweet' is pressed on 180 gram vinyl - accompanied by 16-page booklet on uncoated offset paper - vinyl is housed in a printed inner sleeve - ultimately in a wide spined cover - both cover and inner sleeve are of uncoated, matt paper stock.
