The Norwegian black metal legends Darkthrone have announced the release of their first official live album As Wolves Among Sheep… Live In Oslo. It captures a rare 1990 performance, making this release something necessary for every passionate soul. 

The album will be released on April 18, 2026 as a 180g petrol blue vinyl LP through Peaceville Records as a part of Record Store Day 2026. The album offers a raw and unfiltered document of Darkthrone’s live presence in their formative years, recorded during the Soulside Journey/Goatlord era, at a time when the band was still actively performing on stage. Even though some live tracks were released on compilations and bonus releases, As Wolves Among Sheep… Live In Oslo marks the first time a completely live set has been officially issued as a standalone album.
