Written and recorded largely during the global lockdowns of 2020 in his South London home studio, the album represents a distinct and mature sonic shift for the indie-pop crooner, trading much of his earlier biting nihilism for a sense of hard-won optimism and cosmic romance, featuring the singles Mystery, Shoe, You Deserve An Oscar and Good Morning.
