The CD Singles - 1991 German World Of Music Stores Exclusive Limited Edition 18-CD single box

Very rare 1991 limited numbered 18-CD single box set exclusively manufactured by and for the German World Of Music stores - more or less independently of the Mute label - and featuring the Singles 1, 2 & 3 box set releases including the booklets for each set.

Slimline jewelcase packed CD Singles has black and silver right side chain motif design with Depeche Mode Single Series numering at top - CD Singles are kept in their respective slimline jewelcases with front inlay corresponding to the 1st UK issue of the Single Boxes with UK Mute Records address without further distribution info. Singles are all collected/housed in a ca 16,5 x 16,5 x 17 cm monochrome grey spraypainted wooden box front with metal hinge & clasp and featuring a gold & silver rose motif on the top lid. On the inside of the lid is a mirror/metallic insert displaying the complete tracklisting - machine etched-numbered in the lower right middle - this is number 384 of 400 copies manufactured. A quite stunning Depeche Mode collectible.

all correspondent to the 1991 batch of UK Box Sets with glass mastered at DADC Austria. Front inlays are as the 1991 UK batch of artwork with UK Mute Records address without further distribution info.

Condition: 18 x  VG++ - M. (Discs)/18 x VG++ - M- (Jewelcase Packagings)/3 x VG+ (Booklets)/VG+ (Box):
Outer box is very prone to wear - this box is no exception. It does has a single minor front scuff - a little wear on the bottom and few small stretches of rubbing to edges and corners. Metalwork has a little natural oxidation. Box has no marks though that takes the joy from experiencing the nice artwork -  discs are either near mint or mint with their respective likewise near mint to mint jewelcase packaging/picture inlays. Booklets as featured in the Singles Boxes Pt 1 - 3 are VG+ with a varying degree of creasing. Outer box is a nice VG+, inner box is Near Mint... a simply very nice copy of this impossibly to find Depeche Mode box set.

Please note that the box appears darker grey compared to the light grey on the actual product photography.
