Virgin Killer - 2023 European 9-track 180 gram Blue Vinyl LP

2023 reissue of German Hard Rockers 4th album - the second album made in collaboration with producer Dieter Dierks - like the In Trance album marking yet a step away away from the early psychedelic influences and towards the early metallic sound that was to become highly influential. Virgin Killers was originally released in 1976 on the RCA Victor label - title referring to the idea that time is the 'killer' of innocence - featuring the singles Pictured Life and Virgin Killer.

This is a part of the first 12 "Scorpions Colours of Rock" Editions - the pressing is using a recent remaster by Mischa Janisch at Austria's Sunshine Mastering - subsequently pressed onto 180 gram blue vinyl - and presented polylined inner sleeve, ultimately in a soft touch picture cover - not featuring the original controversial  first cover depicting a young nude gitl behind shattered glass, but featuring the classic 2nd issue band cover.
