possesses an immense fragility loaded with emotions, organically vibrating with electric tension. Melodies full
of clarity lead the way through the murmuring soundscape. The female voice is sincere and genuinely
beautiful with a personal twist of edginess and soulful strength. Gentle words lay out themes of human
existence with a boundless deepness and present simplicity. They’re approachable and open. The music is
full of vibrating delay effects, keys and massive synths, resulting in a somewhat ambient sphere of dreamy,
Nordic melancholy. It’s super cinematic, and it’s more a lively work of art, than the sound of a band. Sunda
Kelepa is Maria Holm-Mortensen (vocals, lyrics) and John Greany Sørensen (instruments, production) – with
help from their friend Daniel Kolind (production).
