The Amazing Nina Simone - 2017 European DOL label 12-track LP Reissue

American singer and pianists first album for the Colpix label - originally released in 1959 - and displaying Simones varied choice of jazz, gospel, and folk songs... compared to her debut, which showcased Simone's piano playing ability in addition to her singing, the piano was downplayed on Amazing in favor of string arrangements.

Dol is a budget label - the album is pressed on 180 gram high quality virgin vinyl - housed in a gatefold picture cover featuring the original 1959 artwork.
