2021 reissue og legendary and primal, fiery and gritty electrical Delta Blues rockin' force. The original 12-track album featured songs from Chester Burnetts Chess singles throughout the 1950ies - which was first compiled as The Wolfs debut album in 1959 - the Dol reissue adds a couple more - probably taken from early Chess singles The Wolf Is At Your Door and Howlin' Wolf Boogie from 1952 ‎and Somebody In My Home from his 1957 7"... as well as three tracks ehich seems to stem from releses recorded for Joe Bihari and Jules Biharis Los Angeles-based RPM label - Passing By Blues, My Baby Stole Off and I Want Your Picture - all from 1951.

Dol is a budget label - master tapes has been restored by Steve Hoffman, te album is pressed onto 180 Gram Opaque Grey Virgin Vinyl - issued in a picture cover featuring the original 1958 artwork.
