2021 European Parlophone label red or white vinyl reissue - marketed on the 45th anniversary of David Bowies 10th studio album originally released in 1976 by RCA Records - recorded at Cherokee Studios in Los Angeles, California, in the September – November 1975... after he completed shooting Nicolas Roeg's The Man Who Fell to Earth movie... this was at the end of Bowies period in Los Angeles - in a period where Bowies alter ego was the emotionally detatched but impeccably well dressed Thin White Duke character - high strung on cocaine and alienation... the stuff that rock mythology is made of.

"Station To Station" is lyrically preoccupied with philosophy, mythology and the esoteric, musically a bridge between the 'plastic soul’ of 1975’s 'Young Americans' and the experimental beginning of Bowie’s Berlin era that was 1977’s ‘Low'.- influenced by German synth based bands such as La Düsseldorf, Neu! and Kraftwerk.

Station To Station features the singles "Golden Years", "Station to Station", "TVC 15" and "Stay"

This pressing uses the 2016 remastering - pressed onto 180 gram red or white vinyl - comes with artwork similar to the original 1976 UK issue - comes with insert - housed in a picture cover which ´preserves the original artwork - based on the ikonic still from Roegs 'The Man Who Fell To Earth' movie.
