2018 reissue of influential New Orleans funk quartets debut studio album - originally released in 1969 on the small Josie imprint - rudimentary, simple and sweaty - led by organist Art Neville with Leo Nocentelli on guitar and and a rhythm section of made of bassist George Porter and drummer Joseph "Zigaboo" Modeliste. Each and every songs is brimming with hooks, melody and variety. Deep grooves on the single hit "Cissy Strut" and guitar riffs echoing throughout "Ease Back".
