Baby in Vains "See Through" is a sonic fusion of rebellious rock aesthetics. At times straightforward and confrontational, dangerous like Sonic Youth's crooked lamentations, or blurry and lazy like Royal Trux. Empathetic and grandiose with an upper lip curled into a superior smile.

Other times, the music is introverted, a crystallizing lens, mild as shoegaze, characterized by delicate dynamics or filled with distant corals of dreamy pop. A unit of girl-group vocals that skew to the unmistakable joy of garage rock, where two guitars and a drum kit for decades have given rise to new dreams of the future. Throughout it, strong melodies run as a link between all kinds of games around the rock trio's possibilities.

"See Through" is instinctive. The album never intends to unfold a complete history of DIY expressions including all the strength and vulnerability of the world. The musical historical references do not seem retrospective, on the contrary, they are given new life through a sense of intuitive use of rock aesthetics. The sound of an album made by young people that is about being just a young person with all that it entails of thoughts about self-image, love, desire, community, being abandoned and taking chances.
