Hatful of Hollow - 2012 European Rhino Label 16-track LP Reissue

2012 reissue of Manchesters jangly indie rockers vinyl LP compiling BBC Radio 1 studio recordings -  which are different from other studio recordings - as well as the singles "Hand in Glove", and their two most recent singles prior to the album's release, "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now" and "William, It Was Really Nothing", with their B-sides "Girl Afraid", "How Soon Is Now?" and "Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want".

The Smiths treated singles as individual entities, not just ways to promote an album, and therefore many of there finest songs were never issued on their studio albums. As if this wasn’t enough, this compilation contains the first appearance of what may be the band’s finest moment. “How Soon Is Now” encapsulates everything good about The Smiths; Morrissey’s mocking lyrics, Marr’s stunning vibrato guitar and a rhythm section you could set your watch to.

Vinyl is pressed onto 180 gram vinyl - released in a gatefold picture cover.
