2016 European reissue Michael Jacksons 7th album - the third and final collaboration between Jackson and producer Quincy Jones issued phenomenal Thriller... moving away from the grooves of the 983 album and a venturing into a musically heavier and more "aggressive" sound... blending pop, rock, funk, R&B, dance, soul, and hard rock styles and embrasing the recording technology of the 1980ies puttin wght on digital synthesizers and drum machines... 

Nine out of ten songs becae singles: "I Just Can't Stop Loving You", "Bad", "The Way You Make Me Feel", "Man in the Mirror", "Dirty Diana", "Another Part of Me", "Smooth Criminal", "Leave Me Alone", and "Liberian Girl"... not bad at all... and the album reached number one in 25 countries, including the UK, where it sold 500,000 copies in its first five days and became the country's best-selling album of 1987... and 1988. 

The 2016 reissue is pressed on 180 gram heavyweight black vinyl - includes credits and lyrics insert - housed in a gatefold picture cover featuring the original artwork.
