American Life - 2003 Jiffy Pop/Warner Bros. label Promotional Issue Stove-Top Popping Pan

What would a Warner Bros. employee think of when campaigning or promoting  Bay City, Michigan, born pop queens 2003 album... after delivering superbly written electronically loaded pop albums throughout the 1990ies... something out of the box... something pairing the Madonnas new album with a symbol of everyday life in the western world brought to us by our friends over there... something harmless and fun - in contrast to the bitter sweet and sharp message of the 'American Life' song in itself... you are right... a self-contained Jiffy Pop stove-top popping pan... as the 'Conagra Brand' puts it on their website: "Jiffy Pop offers a fresh homemade taste no microwave popcorn can match. Since 1959, Jiffy Pop has been perfected using the finest corn kernels to create the ultimate popping experience."

The popping pan comes with a "Warner" logo paired with the warning "Please Chreck The Shipment...." - attached to the handle with a piece of cord is a rudimentary card with rubber stamped artist and album title - *Madonna - American Life'.

The popping pan is intact... albeit with a little bit of pressure - Warner label/tape perfectly attached - card still neatly attached and rubber stamp easily readable - even though there's a deep crease across the text - nice though - and extremely hard to find nowadays... and this is sold as a piece of pop memorabilie - this is not food - dont eat it.
