The seventh studio album by New York noise & roll combo - originally released on July 21, 1992. The band recorded and produced the album with Butch Vig in early 1992 at The Magic Shop and Sear Sound, New York City... not without a nod towards the grunge scene of the time.  AllMusic would later call it "a damn good rock album, and on those terms it ranks with Sonic Youth's best work".
