Sheer Heart Attack - 2015 European Virgin EMI label Half Speed Mastered 180 gram 13-track LP Reissue

2015 of killer UK rock quartets 3rd album - less progressive than their first two album... actually the first one pointing towards the great album of the end 1970ies marking a step towards the "classic" Queen sound - heavy guitars mixed with pop hooks and the mix between  jangle piano and ukulele-banjo predating their later vaudevilles -  all wrapped in Roy Thomas Baker's dynamic production work - bombastic, theatrical and very pretentious - superb. 

Dominique Leone commented in a much later Ptchfork review that 'Sheer Heart Attack not only improves on every aspect of their sound suggested by the first two records, but delivers some of the finest music of their career...this is the band at the height of its powers.'

The 2015 reissue has been half speed mastered at Abbey Road Studios and subsequently pressed onto 180 gram vinyl - presented in an illustrated credits and lyric iner sleeve - ultimately in a picture cover
