2017 reissue of David Bowies 10th studio album originally released in 1976 by RCA Records - recorded at Cherokee Studios in Los Angeles, California, in the September – November 1975... after he completed shooting Nicolas Roeg's The Man Who Fell to Earth movie... this was at the end of Bowies period in Los Angeles - in a period where Bowies alter ego was the emotionally detatched but impeccably well dressed Thin White Duke character - high strung on cocaine and alienation and lyrically preoccupied with philosophy, mythology and the esoteric, musically a transitional album taking off on the ashes of the funk and soul influenced 'Young Americans' album, but introducing the new directions that would shape his sound througout the 1970ies - the influenced by German synth based bands such as La Düsseldorf, Neu! and Kraftwerk. 


Station To Station features the singles "Golden Years", "Station to Station", "TVC 15" and "Stay"

 

The album has been remastered and pressed onto 180 gram vinyl - artwork has been added to but is sought recreated to a detailed degree - black printed orange label with large white vertical outline 'Bowie' lettering - includes credits insert andgeneric sort of inner sleeve with same text as the 1976 UK original - picture cover has the ikopnic still from Roegs 'The Man Who Fell To Earth'
