2016 reissue of Bristol's trip-hop overlords 2nd album... recorded with Everything But the Girl's Tracey Thorn replacing vocalist Shara Nelson - and the last album to featuring Tricky who left do record his 'Maxinquaye' album. Both 'Protection' and 'Maximquaye' are considered classics within the downbeat realm today fusing dub, club and soul mashed up with sampled hip-hop beats - 'Protection' featuring the singles Sly", "Protection" and 'Karmacoma' - grand.
