Clareville Grove Demos - 2019 UK Parlophone 6-track 3x7" Single Box

2019 European Parlophone label 6-track mono 45 r.p.m. 3 x 7" box set. Released as a part of the ongoing celebration marking that it is 50 years since David Bowies Space Oddity album was released.  The Clareville Grove Demos features live demos of tracks recorded prior to the release of the Space Oddity album at Bowies flat in Clareville Grove, London. The demos are recorded as a duo with John 'Hutch' Hutchinson following the end of the Feathers trio, which featured David's then girlfriend Hermione Farthingale.
The box features Space Oddity and An Occasional Dream which ended up on the album - as well as four previously unreleased recordings.
 
The design of each single label is presented to reflect the way David sent many of his demos to publishers and record companies, featuring his own handwritten song titles on EMIDISC acetate labels. Each disc is housed in a poly-lined white paper inner sleeve, inside a stiff, brown, die-cut card outer sleeve.

Box contains a 6" x 4" photographic print and a 4-page insert with liner notes and credits - top box cover and print are from photos by David’s then manager Ken Pitt taken in the Clareville Grove flat .

Condition: New - Still Factory Sealed:
New and unused - perfect underneath the shrink wrapping.
