Beethoven Piano Trios - Original 1970 UK His Masters Voice 5LP Box Set

Rare original 1970 UK His Master's Voice label 5LP Box set featuring Barenboim, Zukerman and Du Pré's interpretations of Beethoven works for piano trios - and finally adding a recording of Opus 11 in its original form for clarinet, cello and piano featuring clarinetist Gervase de Peyer.

Vinyl has the generic red company labels with black centre and white rimprint and top side stripes from the boxed full colour 'Nipper' logo.

This is the label variant with lower curved 'Made In Gt. Britain' print as well as 'The Gramophone Co Ltd...' rimtext.

Vinyls 1, 2, 3 & 5 has the ASD 2569 - 71 and ASD73 label catalogue numbers - Record 4 has Box 78904 vatalogue number.

Vinyls comes complete with 8-page ca 11" square booklet - which has SLS 789/5 Catalogue number.

Vinyls are held in era specific polylined company inner sleeves - everything held in a high gloss front paste on artwork, back textured picture box? which also has the SLS.789/5 catalogue number.

Condition: 5xVG++ - M- (Vinyls And Labels)/M- (Booklet)/VG+(+) (Box):

Vinyls are sublimely shiny and all close to mint - hardly any signs of play or handling.
Labels has a either hardly any or a very light degree of spindletraces - all superficial. Labels are graded near mint.

Booklet is mint - box has a little area of rubbing at top front spine paste on artwork- a tear fron lower bottom box back opening corner... mostly a black on black tear leaving only the very opening seam open forca 1,5 cm's.
Box has otherwise hardly any wear along edges and is intact without splits or rips or writing, stickers etc - overall very nice and graded a nice upper VG+.
