Original 1964 US Pressed Vanguard label 13-track Stereo LP - the debut album by Canadian folk/protest singer/songwriters debut album.

Allmusic music critic William Ruhlman gave the album 5 of 5 stars writing "This is one of the most scathing topical folk albums ever made... Even decades later, the album's power is moving and disturbing."

Vinyl has the black texted bronze labels with top curved company name, lower right label rim 'Stereo' text and 'Recording For The Connoisseur' and mid-lower horseman logo - both in white.

Vinyls has machine stamped matrix information:
Side 1: o XSV 95416-1H V SD-79142 A
Side 2: o XSV 95417-1F V SD-79412 B

Vinyl is held in generic company sleeve, and ultimately in back pasted picture cover with top dark blue banner with 'Stereolab' text.

Condition: VG+(+) (Vinyl and Labels)/VG+ (Cover):
Vinyl is bright and shiny - has a little fine and light and far from audible sleeve inflicted wear? just a little too much for a near mint grading.
Label has a slightly scattered, simple and superficial spindletrace - immediately visible though on Side1 - hardly visible on Side 2. Side 2 label has a production crease as well.

Vinyl is overall graded close to near mint/excellent.

Front and back cover centers are very nice _ a light degree of front ringwear.. and a couple of light wrinkles from milder cover bends from lower seam. Back has a thin line of dried up water absorbtion along right and mid-top back cover slick - hardly any back age discolouration.

Seams are intact, lower seam with light wear, spine slightly sun bleached but without wear and perfectly readable. Spine and top corners are nice and pointy with only faint rubbing... a little more to lower opening corner - cover is overall very nice - especially considering age and proneness to wear - graded straight VG+.
