Scarce original 2016 European Bad Seed/Kobalt label 1st issue 8-track LP - More dissonant and more experimental than 2013s 'Push the Sky Away', more dissolved song structures - none the less Cave's dark and bewildered masterpiece of masterpiece of love, longing and devastation - recorded with long time collaborator, Dirty Three's Warren Ellis and Nicolas Launay - Known for his work with Kate Bush, Talking Heads, Band of Skulls - and Cave himself behind the wheel - over 18 months at Retreat Recording Studios in Brighton, La Frette Studios in La Frette-sur-Seine, and Air Studios in London.

John Aizlewood called Skeleton Tree a "breathtakingly beautiful, grief-strewn record, sometimes direct, sometimes allegorical" and praised both the album's "tender and restrained" music and Cave's "more broken and more uncertain" vocals| Aizlewood surmised that Skeleton Tree is a "staggering achievement, the one for which Nick Cave will always be remembered." in his London Evening Standard review.
Vinyl has black labels whith white print - printed inner sleeve - housed in a slightly oversized, heavy gauge, thick card tip-on picture cover without printed barcode... which is found intact on the outer shrinkwrapping - includes download code.
