Rare 1969 US Elektra label 8-track LP - Lincoln Park, Michigan, formed politically conscious. high octane proto punkers recorded live on Devil's Night and Halloween - October 30 and 31, 1968, at Detroit's Grande Ballroom - a furious amalgam of garage rock, hard rock, blues rock, and psychedelic rock - labelled "an album that refuses to be played quietly" and "one of the most powerfully energetic live albums ever made" by Allmusics Mark Deming.

This issue of Motor City Five's 'Kick Out The Jams' album omits the 'Motherfucker' salute in the beginning of the title track, but is still full throttle anti establishment - loud, raw, energetic and with an introduction by John Sinclair - "Minister of Information" for the militantly anti-racist, socialist "White Panthers".

Vinyl has the generic red cmpany labels with top large, outline capital 'E' Integrated with lower case company name - in white - otherwise black text

Vinyl has handetched matrix information - only the encircled MR is machine stamped:
Side 1: EKS-74042-AX-(MON) MR BB Marie /\ 8710|13116
Side 2: EKS-74042-B-(MON) MR /\ 8710|12920-X BB

- the X in 'AX' suggests this to be a 2nd issue pressed by the Los Angeles/Sun Valley based Monarch Record Mfg Co., the 'BB' is mastering engineer and producers, Bruce Botnick, signature initials.

Vinyl is housed in a generic era specific Company inner sleeve - the one with large White 'E''s and lower case Company names on tan background - ultimately in a 2nd issue gatefold picture cover omitting the 1st issue liner notes by John Sinclair.

Condition: VG++ (Vinyl and Labels)/VG+(+) (cover):

Vinyl is exceptionally nice - bright, shiny and with only very faint signs of handling and play.
