Scarce 1970ies French Le Chant Du Monde LP - combining Greek-French mathematician, architect and modern composers first major musical constructs, Metastasis, combined with 1954-55's Pithoprakta and Eonta composed in 1963-64.

Metastaseis was written for an orchestra of 61 players inspired by the combination of an Einsteinian view of time and Xenakis' memory of the sounds of warfare, and structured on mathematical ideas by Le Corbusier.

Pithoprakta is likewise an early piece written for a large orchestra - strings, trombones, xylophone, and woodblock and based on the statistical mechanics of gases with each instrument being conceived as a molecule viewed through distribution and temperature fluctuations.

Both orchestral works are delivered with Maurice Le Roux in front of the National Orchestra of the French Radio and Television Office.

Eonta is chamber music scored for piano, trumpets, and trombones - featuring Paris Contemporary Music Ensemble conducted by Konstantin Simonovic.

This is the 2nd Le Chant Du Monde issue - most likely issued in the start 1970ies on the
red and black printing labels with large top curved company name and slightly different label design compared to the 1965 issue.
