Rare 1966 UK CBS label 2-track 7" single - featuring the Lee Hazelwoods "The Cheat" which originally was recorded by Sanford Clark in 1957.

"The Cheat" features guitar and bass by featuring future Zeppelin members Jon Paul Jones and Jimmy Page - recorded before Richie Blackmore was a member of the band though.

The A-side has an unsual eastern psychedelic sound for a record released in 1966. The track was compiled on Real Life Permanent Dreams (A Cornucopia Of British Psychedelia 1965 - 1970).

The 7" is backed by Sutchs own "Black And Hairy" - a novelty horror rocker and one of Lord Sutch's hilarious live act for many years.

7" has rough orange labels with black printing and top boxed camera-eye logo and company name.

Labels has smooth uneven rim and 4-prong push-out centre.

Condition: VG++ (Vinyl and Labels)/-:
Vinyl is extremely bright and shiny - hardly any signs of play or handling - a couple of very superficial lines which seems more sleeve than needle inflicted - otherwise only a very light degree of the faintest sleeve inflicted wear.

Labels has a very light degree of spindlewear - both labels and vinyl are graded near mint overall.

Vinyl plays greay - without any noise or distortion - a playgrading would be near mint.
