Hurdy Gurdy - Original 1972 UK CBS label 1st Issue 8-track LP

Rare original 1972 UK pressed CBS Records 1st Issue 8-track LP - the sole album by Danish hard rock and blues influenced progressive rock trio.

Vinyl has the generic orange company labels with boxed and centered camera eye logo and company name.

Vinyl has machine stamped matrix information:
Side 1: S64781 A1, mother/stamper A 3
Side 2: S64781 B1, mother/stamper A 1
suggesting that this copy is manufactured from the first set of master matrices, first set of mothers - very early stampers - not that there are that many pressings within the first issue around.

Vinyl is held in an era specific company add inner sleeve - ultimately in a unipak/inner opening gatefold picture cover.

The 1st issue of this album was manufactured in the UK for Danish distribution - The 2nd issue in Holland in 1974 with end opening gatefold picture cover.

Condition: VG++ (Vinyl)/M- (Labels)/VG++ (Cover):

Vinyl is bright and lustrous - hardly any evidence of play or handling - a touch of barely noticeable sleeve inflicted wear. Labels are mint and vinyl is overall graded near mint.

Cover is extremely nice - a touch of wrinkling from edges and faint spine edge and corners rubbing but otherwise simply mint. Very mild imperfection - cover is overall graded near mint. Copies like this just don't turn up anymore.
