Rare and beautiful 1993 UK Genesis Publications limited edition, numbered & autographed 278 page folio-size hardback book celebrating George Harrisons 'Rock Legends' tour of Japan' December 1991 tour - featuring foreword by Eric Clapton and text by George Harrison and members of the touring band: Keyboardists Chuck Leavell & Greg Phillinganes| bassist Nathan East| guitarist Andy Fairweather Low| drummers/percussionists Steve Ferrone & Ray Cooper| and singers Tessa Niles & Katie Kissoon.

The foreword by Eric Clapton explains how George was persuaded to return to touring after a break of 17 years. The first (and longest) chapter is written by George himself and details his thoughts and feelings on taking to the road after such a long absence. It includes George's personal recollections of the tour and memories of times on the road with The Beatles. Subsequent chapters are written by each member of Eric Clapton's band and reveal private moments behind the scenes, during sound checks, on stage and in transit. The final chapter by John Harris (who engineered the 'Live In Japan CD) provides a revealing account of working with George Harrison in the studio. The book also includes a full itinerary of the tour.'

The book is manufactured in 3500 copies of which only 500 is autographed - this copy is autographed on "Limited Edition" page in blue marker. This copy is number 45.

The book measures approximately 14" x 10" x 2½" and is hand-bound in full black leather, with gold and red tooling and gilt page edges. It features almost 500 previously unpublished photographs and is accompanied by the 19-track double CD set recorded December, 1991 in Osaka and Tokyo.

Disc has custom graphics artwork and are placed in black velvet trays which - along with internally bound 4-page tracklisting and credits booklet - are placed in the back of a red and gold printed black buckram folder with an internal pocket for a souvenir pack containing a laminated back-stage pass, a satin 'After Show' pass and copies of four of the guitar picks used by George and Eric - very nice.

Book and folder are kept in separate compartments in a massive outer black cloth bound slipcase.

Book pages and interior are perfect - without any signs of handling or age - autograph is clear and readable - unsmothered. Book cover is likewise mint - age is no objective.
Discs has almost no signs of handling - picture surface is mint. Souvenir pack is still factory sealed - outer booklike folder mint. Slipcase is mint - simply a superb copy.
