The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan - Original 1963 US Columbia label 13-track Mono LP

Rare 1963 US Columbia label mono 13-track LP - the 1st commercial issue of Bob Dylans 2nd album and breakthrough classic.

Vinyl is pressed with the generic red Columbia 'Guaranteed High Fidelity' label design with top company name and mid-left and right label camera eye logos printed in white - black center label print.

Labels has 'non breakable' text and vinyl has machine stamped matrix numbers:
Side 1: G XLP-58717-3AA
Side 2: G XLP-58717-2K
The 1st pressing of this album was manufactured from -3/-2 master matrices for Side 1 and 2 respectively. This copy is furthermore manufactured from the 12th and 10th laquer respectively.

The ?Guaranteed High Fidelity? label ran from 2nd half of 1962 until august 1965 - matrix information supports the thought that this is a very early pressing as it is has the correct matrix endings and is manufactured from early laquers.

Vinyl is held in a back pasted picture cover with top left front mono-only format information and catalogue number. Lower front spine corner has ?Guaranteed High Fidelity? print.
Back cover lower back 'This Columbia Guaranteed High Fidelity Recording..." text. Lower back spine corner has a printed ?1? indicates the cover was manufactured by Modern Album Finishing Co., - probably at their Terre Haute, IN, facility.

Condition: VG++ (vinyl & labels)/VG++ (Cover):

Vinyl still retains its original superbly high lustre. Vinyl has almost no signs of play except for a couple of very faint sleeve induced marks - simply astonishing vinyl.

Labels are mint and has no signs of use or handling. Vinyl is overall extremely close to mint.

Cover equals the vinyl conditionwise. A very few marginal cover wrinkles? top back opening cover slick has a bend - otherwise mint. Front colours are intact and unfaded - back is incredible clean - as white as when issued and with no signs of use or storage other than mentioned.

Seams are intact and without wear at all - spine perfect, opening hardly rubbed. Spine corners remains pointy and without rubbing ? opening corners has only hints of rubbing. Cover is graded straight near mint - hard to believe that this copy is more than 50 years old.
