Sound + Vision - Original 1989 US Ryko Analogue label 6LP Vinyl Box

Rare and lavish 1990 US Ryko Anaogue label limited edition audiophile 50-track 6LP compilation box set - originally manufactured as a 'teaser' for the 1990 - 92 Rykodisc CD/LP reissue campaign covering Bowie's great output from 1969's "Space Oddity" to "Scare Monsters..." from 1980.

The 6LPs features three or four well known tracks from each Bowie album as well as eight previously unreleased tracks and rare single mixes.

Vinyls are manufactured as Direct Metal Mastered clear, light green virgin vinyl pressings.

Vinyls are housed in anti-static Japanese rice paper inners, custom printed inner sleeves and gatefold picture covers with rare photographs and extensive liner notes - everything housed in a 2-piece outer box - textured, glossy bottom box coupled with a clear screen printed lid - complete with outer picture card part-slipcase.

Condition: 6xVG++ (Vinyl and Labels)/3xVG++ (Cover)/VG++ (Box)/VG+(+) (Slipcase):

Vinyls era superb - bright and shiny and with either no signs of play or handling at all or just hints of sleeve inflected wear which is only seen in the trail off.

Labels are likewise nice - has between a single and a very few - like a handful or so - superficial, short and simple spindletraces.

Vinyls are overall graded near mint.

Cover are nice - has a almost no corners or edge rubbing - extremely close to mint.

Bottom lid is mint - top lidt has faint storage scuffing - hence the overall near mint box grading.

Slipcase has - as always - a little inevitable corners, seam and edge rubbing - by far nothing grave, just a touch - slipcase is conservatively graded close to near mint/excellent.
varies and sleeves are in superb mint condition - bottom box and part-slpcase equally perfect - box lid shows some minor storage wear - very nice indeed.
