Rare original 1967 UK Reaction stereo 1st pressing LP of massive British power trios psychedelic 2nd album - labelled a '...quintessential heavy rock album of the '60s' by Allmusics Stephen Thomas Erlewine who writes:"Yes, its psychedelic trappings tie it forever to 1967, but the imagination of the arrangements, the strength of the compositions, and especially the force of the musicianship make this album transcend its time as well."

Vinyls is manufactured as a rigid or stiff vinyl pressing on the generic blue and silver printed company labels with company name placed in the upper 'arrow-ended banners' - vinyl has machine stamped matrix information:

Side 1: 594003 AV1, mother/stamper: 1 1 4 4
Side 2: 594003 BV1, mother/stamper: 1 1 2 ?
verifying that this copy was manufactured from the first master matrices, the first set of fathers - the fourth and 2nd mothers fro Side 1 and 2 respectively.

Vinyl is housed in the first pressing fully laminated picture cover - manufactured as a two piece cover with back/spine extension flap glued underneath front cover and upper/lower front extension flabs glued under the back cover.

Condition: VG++ (Vinyl and Labels)VG++ (Cover)

Vinyl: Near Perfect, VG++:
Vinyl is extremely lustrous. Side 1 vinyl has barely any signs of play or handling but for a single extremely superficial mark paired with hints of sleeve lines - vinyl is extremely close to flawless. Side 2 vinyl looks unused.

Labels: Near perfect, VG++:
Labels has a touch of light but complex spindlewear - hard to determine how many traces - a light degree. Labels are - like the vinyl - graded near mint.

This does not look like an album played frequently - and it has the sound to prove it.

Cover: Close to Near Mint/Excellent, VG+(+):
Picture cover has almost no wear to laminate along vinyl outline - a very light degree of wrinkling from edges - and a couple along opening of which one along top opening is significant. Laminate is otherwise perfect - unfaded fresh colors underneath.
Seams are straight and perfect, spine is mint, opening has a touch of rubbing only. Corners are either mint or close to perfect with just hint of rubbing to lower corners only - next to nothing. Overall a simply very attractive copy - great vinyl in a way above average cover.
