Islands - Original 1977 UK Capitol label 10-track LP - Orange Labels

Original 1977 UK Capitol Records 1st pressing vinyl LP.

Vinyl has the generic red company labels with olive green company 'Capitol' text bottom label machine stamped matric information:
Side 1: E-ST1 11602 mother stamper 1 P
Side 2: E-ST2 11602 mother stamper 1 GR
Verifying that this copy was manufactured from the first masterrun, 1st set of mothers and very early stampers - a genuine 1st pressing.

Vinyl is held in a generic era specific 'Care Of Your Record' text box inner sleeve - ultimately in a Garrod & Lofthouse manufactured picture cover.

The red company labels with olive green company logo at label bottom and 'Capitol Industries-EMI' & 'unauthorised duplication' upper rimprint was used from late 1975 to the beginning of 1978.

Condition: VG+(+) (Vinyl and Labels)/VG+(+) (Cover):
Vinyl is bright and shiny - has a faint degree of sleeve wear and a some very light and inaudible shading - mint labels. Vinyl is graded at least close to near perfect/excellent.

Cover has a little wrinkling in the lower right back corner area, along opening and from edges - otherwise mint. A very nice copy.
