Hits - Original 1967 UK Pye label 4-track Stereo 7" EP

Very rare original 1967 UK PYE label 4-track Stereo 7"EP single from lead guitarist and vocalist with British rock combo the Kinks.

'Hits' comprises Davies first two solo single releases from July 1967 and January 1968 - all tracks except 'Suzannah's Still Alive' was included on The Kinks 1967 albym 'Something Else by The Kinks' and backing for both singles are essentially the rest of The Kinks along with Nicky Hopkins and Ray Davies wife guesting 'Death Of A Clown'.

Vinyl has the light blue company labels with black printing and circular company logo in a small blue box placed in top black banner.

Vinyl is held in a picture cover laminated on front, over the spine and top & bottom extension flips - matt finish back.

Condition: VG+ (Vinyl)/VG++ (Labels)/VG++ (Sleeve):

Vinyl is supremely bright and shiny - has a single scuff which induces three faint clicks in the end of Side 1, track 1. Otherwise only a faint degree of sleeve wear.

Labels has between a single and a couple of handfuls slightly scattered spindletraces - more so on Side 1 than Side 2.
Side 1 label has been cut unevenly so around centre hole - a production imperfection which has had no effect on grading.

Vinyl is conservatively graded VG+ - but would have been at least close to near perfect/excellent if not for the audible mark.

Sleeve is amazing. A single light and small wrinkle along opening, one from lower back seam - otherwise almost none from edges.
Front has deep intact colour underneath the almost wearfree laminate - back is sublimely clean - only the very faintest, inevitable vinyl outline.

Seams are intact and straight - corners pointy - at simply extremely nice sleeve - graded close to mint - a very attractive copy overall.
