Long Tall Sally b/w I Took My Baby Home - Original 1964 UK Pye label 2-track 7" Single

Rare original 1964 UK PYE label 2-track 7" vinyl single - the debut by legendary British rhythm & blues influenced rock & roll combo.

Vinyl has the generic deep pink company labels with black printing and left side circular company logo - has 'Recording First Published 1964' text to the right of 4-prong centre.

This label ran from june 1962 to late 1964 whereafter the single was repressed with top circular logo in a deep pink box in a black banner.

Their mono mix rendering of Litlle Richards classic is not included on neither the UK or US debut release - likewise mono mixed B-side only on the British release.

Vinyl is housed in an era specific generic die-cut company sleeve.

Vinyl is bright and shiny - has only faint and very superficial marks - all look like sleeve marks - no drop marks - and all inaudible.

Side 1 has a couple of simple, light and far from scattered spindletraces - Side 2 has less than a handful - but slightly scattered spindletraces - likewise light and far from serious. This looks like a single played a handful of times and then stored.

Vinyl plays straight and great - full dynamics, fine fidelity and no noise when played at normal volume.

Vinyl is overall visually graded close to near perfect/excellent - a play grading would be near perfect.

Sleeve is in wonderful condition - a touch too much corners wrinkling and faint age discolouration for a near mint grading - graded clsoe to near mint/excellent - a great copy - hard to get in such nice condition.
