Cellophane - Original 1967 UK Page One 12-track Stereo LP

Rare original 1968 US Fontana 12-track Stereo LP - the 3rd album by British rock combo - more of a soft-rock folk-psychedelic effort than thier earlier combination of more garagy recordings and balladsincluding the hit single "Love Is All Around".

Vinyl has the generic turquise and silver printed company 'grid' labels. Vinyl has machine stamped matrix information:
Side 1: POLS 003 1Y //1V420 11 1
Side 2: POLS 003 2Y //1V420 11 1

the two '11''s after country code 420 are handetched, vinyl has an additional 1 machine stamped at 9 o'clock - like a combination of an album pressed for Philips and EMI or Decca. Anyway - all these 1's normally points towards a pressing which stems from the 1st processing of the master, the first acetates, fathers and mothers - either the first or very early stampers.

Vinyl is held in a front laminated Garrod & Lofthouse flipback picture cover which has 'Patents Pending' text in the lower right back corner.

Condition: VG++ (Vinyl and Labels)/VG++ (Cover):

Vinyl is beautifully lustrous - has almost no signs of play or handling and is in itself exceptionally close to mint.
Labels does not display any evidence of play and is plain mint - simply gorgeous vinyl.

Cover is superb and has a series of very marginal imperfections - a touch of laminate lift in spine corner regions, a couple of wrinkles along opening and otherwise only the faintest edge wrinkling, only hints of wear to laminate itself and almost impeccable back.

Seams are straight and intact, spine easily readable and without pressure, opening undamaged - almost no corners rubbing.
Cover is graded straight near mint - a superb copy.
