Waves - Original 1975 UK Island label 2-track LP

Scarce original 1975 UK Island Records 2-track vinyl LP - British progressive rock band - featuring ex-July members Tony Duhig & Jon Field - 5th album and 2nd for Island - one single compositions alternating between dreamlike, etheral passages and more dynamic ones - featuring Steve Winvood on moog and piano solos.

Vinyl has the generic pink rimmed 'palm tree' company labels - machine stamped matrix information:
Side 1: ILPS 9318 A-1U Master room, Mother/Stamper 1 H
Side 2: ILPS 9318 B-1U, Mother/Stamper 1 GD
basically stressing that this copy was manufactured from the first masterrun, 1st set of acetates adn fathers, the first set of mothers and early stampers - a genuine 1st pressing within the 1st issue.

Vinyl is housed in a generic white company inner sleeve - and ultimately placed in a matt finish picture cover.

Condition: VG++ (vinyl and labels)/VG++ (cover):

Vinyl: Close To Near perfect/Excellent, VG+(+):
Vinyl is superbright - has a single entirely superficial mark in the beginning of Side 2 -barely any sleeve wear.
One label has a single or two light spindlemarks of which one goes outsode the centre ring. The other label has almost no spindletraces - this does not look like an album played more than a very few time and vinyl is overall graded at least close to near perfect/excellent.

Cover: Close to near perfect, VG++:
Cover has almost no seam or edge wear, barely any age discolouration - and otherwise in beautifully perfect condition - graded close to perfect, VG++.
