Mud In Your Eye b/w I've Been Trying - Original 1966 UK Polydor label 2-track Mono 7" Single

Exceptionally rare original 1966 UK Polydor label 2-track 7" Single - the 3rd single by British psychedelic rock trio featuring core member and drummer Keith Guster and excellent guitarist and later Jackie Lomax and Leigh Stephens collaborator Bryn Haworth along with bass player and later King Crimson member Gordon Haskell.

Vinyl has the generic red and black printed company labels with top 'half album' logo above large and thin fonted company name.

Labels has rough center finish with 3 mm smooth rim finish and 3-prong push out centre.

This copy has '4 NOV 1966' release date rubber stamped on both labels.

Vinyl is held in an era specific generic 'wavy top' Polydor flipback company Sleeve

Condition: VG++ (Vinyl and Labels)/VG+(+) (Sleeve):

Vinyl is overall bright and shiny and has almost no signs of having been played or handled. A single or two barely noticeable sleeve marks - otherwise perfect.

Labels are likewise extremely nice without any spindletraces - maybe a touch of the very faintest wear on top of centrehole side and centre ring perimeter on Side 1 from rubbing against an adjacent copy because the are just situed very slightly higher than label otherwise. Labels are like the vinyl graded near mint.

The 7" Single has as such only very minor signs of play and vinyl plays straight and amazing with the kind of dynamics, volume and tone which characterises 1960ies UK vinyl - without noise or crackling. A play grading would be at least near mint.

Cover has the usual mild vinyl outline and top & corners wrinkling which stems from milder bends.
Sleeve has a little sun discolouration along one edge nut is otherwise neat without tears, rips, writing or other excessive signs of handling or age. Sleeve is like the vinyl graded close to near perfect/excellent.
