Sings Hank Williams - 1960ies US Sun label 12-track Stereo LP

1960ies US Sun label 12-track Stereo LP - Johnny Cash' 7th regular studio album issued on Sam Philips legendary label.

'Sings Hank Williams' was originally released as a mono LP in 1960 - making this a slightly later rechanneled stero release.

Vinyl has the generic yellow and brown printed company labels with large fonted, outline & shadow effect 'SUN" logo placed in the top alternating yellow and light brown rays coming from the center hole and fanning out to the top third.

Labels has perimeter music notes only interrupted by "Memphis, Tennesee" print on brown oval background at bottom label... above "A Product Of Sun Record Co., Inc. - Memphis, Tenn." curved bottom text.

This copy does not feature any of the 1950ies mono characteristicas like deep groove and microgroove text, nor does it feature writing or publishing credits below song titles and it does not have "33 1/3" speed indication.

Vinyl is pressed on heavy and inflexible vinyl and held in a backpasted cover which is similar to the original 1960 mono release except for the front 'Stereo' text.

Condition: VG++ (Vinyl and Labels)/VG+ (Cover):
Vinyl is bright and shiny and has only an exceptional light degree of sleeve wear. Labels are likewise near mint totalling less than a cm of spindletraces in the imediate surroundings of centre hole. Very nice.

Front cover has a touch of ring- and mid-cover wear - back is very clean with almost no signs of age or storage.
Seams are straight and have only light wear except for a couple of cm's against openings which are regular nicely repaired splits.
Corners are otherwise very nice with only faintwear - very decent cover - graded close to straight VG+.
