Scarce 1972 Danish Apple Records 12-track vinyl LP - Welsh/British rock bands 3rd album labelled "Badfinger's power-pop apex" by Rolling Stone critic David Fricke and a "...stone cold beauty of an album...Love it like your mother" by The NME in 1993 when the album was reissued on CD.

Vinyl is manufactured with the full and sliced Apple labels on Side 1 and 2 respectively. Vinyl has machine stamped (ms) and handetched (he) trail off area information:
Sapcor 19A-1U (ms) PORKY (he)
Sapcor 19B-1U (ms) PECKY (he)
it is a standard for Scandinavian pressings not to reveal any mother/stamper matrix information. The 1U matrix ending places this copy as a 1st issue, The hand etched notation stresses that 'STaright Up' was mastered for vinyl by mastering engineer George Peckham.

Vinyl is held in a fully laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. picture sleeve.

The combination of vinyl manufactured in Denmark and covers in the UK are typical for Danish EMI distributed vinyls amongst others.

Condition: VG++ (Vinyl and Labels)/VG++ (Cover):

Vinyl is wonderfully shiny and has almost no signs of play nor handling.
Labels has a single far from complex spindletrace and vinyl is overall easily graded near mint.

Cover has a few wrinkles from edges from milder cover bends and a few one from laminate contraction, especially alongopening.
Cover has been preserved in a protective cover and has no wear to laminate - great deep colour underneath the laminate.
back has a series of very tiny tears along bottom... probably as the card cover has glued to the protective cover.
Seams are firm and intact, spine easily readable and free from any bends or pressure - opening without rubbing, corners perfectly pointy.

A simply great copy which would fit neatly into any Badfinger or power pop collection.
