Scarce original 1970 German Reprise Records 6-track stereo vinyl LP - the second album that Zappa released after disbanding the Mothers Of Invention in 1969 - featuring an almost equal mix live recordings and studio material and full of cross-references to avant-garde/free jazz and modern classical music.

Vinyl has the generic tan steamship labels with boxed orange ':r' logo above company name - housed in outer laminated picture cover featuring Dieter Boé alternate artwork displaying a metal doll bleeding away in a rat trap.

Condition: VG++ (Vinyl and Labels)/VG+(+) (Cover):
Vinyl is bright and lustrous - has a touch of extremely light and fine sleeve marks - combined with just a touch of faint sleeve wear.
Labels are equally near mint and has less than a handfull of barely traceable spindmarks... probably more a couple or three faint, but slightly scattered ones - which kind of supports the thought that this album was just played a very few times and handled well when so.

Cover has few light spine edge wrinkles and laminate has started to lift in the upper corners and opening region. Front and back centre are otherwise extremely nice - superglossy surface with intact deep and unfaded colours underneath.

Seams are intact with a couple of cm's crack in the laminate/sleeve against opening and 1 cm barely noticeable wear a few cm's from spine. Spine and the imediate area around it has light sun-discolouration - perfectly readable though. Corners are nice - spine corners pointy and a with almost no visible denting - opening corners with very light dents and almost no rubbibf - a simply extremely nice cover - which normally only turns up wrecked - this one is close to near perfect/excellent - an overall way above awerage copy.
