Scarce original 1969 UK Polydor label 11-track stereo vinyl LP - the debut album by British jazz & blues rock trio.
Vinyl has the generic red company labels with top semi-circular 'half album' looking logo above large fonted company name-logo in white.
Vinyl has machine stamped matrix info:
Side 1: 583081 AV1 420 1 1 1
Side 2: 583081 BV1 420 1 1 6
stressing that this copy was manufactured from the first set of master matrices, first set of fathers and mothers and the first and an very early stamper respectively - avery early copy.
Vinyl is housed in an era specific generic polylined company inner sleeve with 'Plastic Bags' warning text and ultimately in a fully laminated MacNeil Press manufactured picture cover.
Condition: VG++ (Vinyl)/M- (Labels)/VG+ (Cover)
Vinyl is extremely bright and has as good as no signs of handling or play... a couple of the faint sleeve marks that you have to look hard for to discover. Perfect labels.
Front cover has a few spine edge- and a couple of opening laminate wrinkles. Front and back has laminate lift along most of spine - also in a very thin discontinued stripe along ca half of top front seam... and along a top front right vinyl outline wrinkle and a couple of wrinkles from back top seam. Front and back centres are otherwise in neat condition neat.
Seams are firm, spine slightly pressurised but easily readable - corners has light dents. Corners has very minimal rubbing except for lower back opening corner which has a very thin stripe - ca 1 x 10 mm - cover missing along opening. All in all a series of more marginal flaws - no tears or rips, no writing or otherexcessive signs of handling or storage - graded straight VG+.
