Original 1973 Japan Apple label 26-track 1st Pressing 2LP Set - the 'Red Album' and the first of the two classic compilation 2LP sets - compiled by Beatles manager Allen Klein and including every single A-side from the first half of the Beatles period.
Vinyl has the generic red full light green apple motif labels on Side 1 and 'sliced' apple motif labels on Side 2.
Labels has 'Mfd By Toshiba Musical Industries Ltd. In Japan' rimprint and "An Apple Record/An E.M.I. Recording" print along with (P) 196+ and publishing company.
Side 1 and 2 has folster and oval JASRAC label logos beneath right side catalogue and matrix number. Side 3 and 4 has only the folster logo.
Vinyls are placed in red and black printed flipback inner sleeve.
Vinyls comes complete with a 11" Square 12-page illustrated biographical booklet written in Japanese, an 11" Square 12-page discography likewise written in Japanese - along with a large fold-out full colour poster.
Vinyls, inner sleeves, booklets and poster are
held in a solid and sturdy gatefold picture cover with catalogue number prefix EAP and 3,500 Yen mark on upper back - identifying this as the first pressing cover.
This copy comes complete with a unique broad red OBI with top Apple logo along with catalogue number prefix EAP and 3,500 Yen mark.

Vinyls are still bright and shiny - has a touch of far from obtrusive sleeve wear - next to nothing. Labels has a single short and extremely superficial spindletrace in the imediate vicinity of the centre hole - vinyls are easily graded near mint.
Biographical booklet has a few spots on Side 2 & 3 and a single one opn Side 6 & 7 - otherwise barely any signs of handling.
Discography booklet has a touch of age spotting in the upper left front area but is otherwise extremely close to perfect.
Booklets has no writing or tears, no creasing or rips - both are conservatively graded close to near perfect/excellent.
Poster is mint and cover has only the faintest corners and edge wear - spine displays the usual thin stripe from the middle which is simply a sign that the cover has been opened.
Inner spread has a few light and unobtrusive age spots - all in all a series of very minor to minor flaws resulting in a close to near perfect/excellent cover grading.
OBI has a milder bends and a little age spotting on back - likewise graded close to near perfect - all in all incredible nice vinyl along with an overall very nice packaging.
