Smokin' In The Pit - Original 1981 Japanese Better Days label 8-track 2LP Set

1981 Japanese only Better Days label 8-track 2LP set featuring Mike Mainieri fusion jazz combo recorded live December 14 - 16, 1980 at the Roppongi Pit-Inn in Tokyo with Mike Brecker, Steve Gadd, Eddie Gomez & Don Grolnick with special guest Kazumi Watanabe.

The 2LP Set is released under the Steps moniker and vinyl has the generic black and silver printed company labels with integrated sun eclipse logo and red and yellow stylized company name - complete with picture insert - gatefold picture cover and OBI.

Condition: 2xM- (Vinyl and Labels)/VG++ (Insert)/VG++ (Cover)/VG+ (OBI):
Vinyl are perfect without any imperfections - labels likewise mint.
Insert has almost no signs of handling - cover just a little corners denting or rubbing - perfect inner spread and graded straight near perfect. OBI has a couple of small rips along top and bottom seam - followed by light vertical waving... from a milder bend - graded straight VG+. Overall a more than very decent copy.
